Daydreaming of a space you are excited to call home? Our clients always start in the same place: a vision, a mood board, a daydream of what their home could be. Luckily for them, our amazing team is here to bring their mood board to life! Keep reading to see a look into our renovation and design process and how we can work together to create your dream space!
Step One: The Before!
Before the project really gets started, your designer will come and do an initial walk-through to take before pictures, measurements, mark all plumbing and electrical, and get an overall feel for your wants, needs, and style.
These clients found their forever home a few years ago and are finally ready to make achange to not only bring more functionality to their space but also let their style shine through! Their kitchen was enclosed by a non-load-bearing wall, and they had a vision of removing it to create space for a center island. The other big item on their to-do list was to move the microwave, allowing for a statement hood over the stove.
Step Two: Mood Boards and Materials
Now the fun part begins with an inspo board, where the designer and clients work together to understand the style and vision for the client’s space. Then your designer will select all materials and fixtures for the project, going back and forth with the client to make every little detail perfect! In this case, the clients wanted their kitchen to be bright, without being white, traditional yet modern, and overall more functional for their lifestyle! Our design team was able to take their vision and create a space that is not only timeless but also shows their personality.
Step Three: Technical Drawings, Plans, and 3D Renderings
The next step really helps our clients visualize their new space through 3D renderings, showing how all the materials and new layout will look in their home. Along with this comes all technical drawings and plans, ready to hand off to our renovation team, one step closer to bringing that initial daydream to life!
Once everything was approved by the client, designer, and contractors, the renovations began!
Finally! The Big Reveal
Now it’s time for our clients to reminisce on the before and enjoy the after!
