Business in the Front, Party in the Back: The Living Redemption
We’re baaaaaaaaack for another season of Rock the Block! And this time, there’s only one thing on our mind: REDEMPTION.
This time around, we’re looking to add the most value to a waterfront home in Treasure Island, Florida. Without a second thought, we knew that this home needed to undergo a huge transformation and stand out from our competitors, but also cater to the Treasure Island community–and that’s how we landed on the “tropical retreat” theme.
After last week’s kitchen remodel, there was still so much space on this main floor to utilize; it was important to find a way to make the most of it AND add the most value possible. Since we can’t change the square footage, we knew adding a secondary primary room and a full guest bathroom would be the most bang for our buck.
Our goal: create a space that radiates major vacation vibes and feels like a true oasis, but also is a totally Instagram-worthy space. This challenged inspired us to call our home, “the mullet house” you know… business in the front (peaceful living room), party in the back (the rest of the main floor). Like Brian said, we put the fun in functional.
Now, let’s talk about our living room design, well really our “main living spaces” including a living room, a full guest bathroom, and a primary suite. *This blog post may contain affiliate links
