More About Everett
Everett is home to the largest public marina on the west coast, and is the site of the U.S. Navy Homeport, which proudly welcomed the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (the Lincoln has since been retired, and the USS Nimitz took her place in 2012).
Worldwide, Everett is known for Boeing, one of the largest global aircraft manufacturers. Boeing’s Everett facility is known for being the largest building in the world by volume at 116.5 million cubic feet, and covers 98.3 acres. The 747, 767, 777, and 787 are assembled here.
Everett boasts a beautiful historic district that contains many old stately homes including home of the former U.S. Senator Henry M. Jackson.
