On this week’s episode of Unsellable Houses, we took on an entirely new challenge… with the help of Wayfair Professional, we renovated a commercial business space instead of an unsellable home!
The Feather Ballroom is a historic event space in Snohomish in need of some minor updates, while of course, still maintaining the original character and charm of it’s rich history. (I mean, did you see the deep wood tones + intricate millwork?)
Some of the biggest updates the Ballroom needed:
- Replace all of the light fixtures throughout (lobby, bar, bathrooms + ballroom)
- Install new vanities in the bathrooms
- Fresh interior paint throughout (walls + ceiling)
- Refinish the original hardwood floors + install new tile in the bathrooms
When it came time to create a plan for the renovation and to bring our ‘Modern Vintage’ style to life, I knew that it was a must to incorporate fixtures that seamlessly pair with the original features.
Partnering with Wayfair Professional, especially on a renovation for a business, was an absolute game changer (and a must-have) for this project. They provided us with stunning light fixtures and bathroom vanities that captured our vision beautifully.
