Can you believe Easter is just around the corner?! We are so close! I am so excited to have family and friends over for a day full of activities and some tasty food! First thing’s first, I have to get my home ready!
Now, when I decorate for spring I make everything as blank of a canvas as possible (Check out my Spring into Spring blog if you haven’t already.), and to be honest as soon as Easter is over I bring back all of my base colors, but for the weekend of Easter, usually from Good Friday- Easter Sunday my home transforms! Here are some quick and easy changes that I make to bring in the joy of Easter, minus the bunnies and eggs!
Add the pastels
For Easter I know I am not the only one who loves to add in the pastels! My favorite way to add them to my home is to replace the blankets that are on the couch and in my blanket storage with pastel color cashmere ones. Now, I know I am not the only one out there with a blanket addiction, but Justin always wants to know why I am buying so many blankets, and it’s for reasons like this! Blankets are such a quick and easy way for me to add and take away colors and textures! You truly need a different blanket for every season, and I think Easter is another great example of this! If you are looking for an even easier option I am a huge fan of switching out your regular napkins for some pastels to bring a little bit of color into your eating area!

All White Table Decor
Whether you celebrate the Holiday for the crucifixion and rising of Jesus or you just enjoy Easter Egg hunts and good food I think we can all agree that white is a big part of the Easter Holiday! One of the things that I love to do is switch out my “Fun Plates” for an all-white set! Yes, I just told you to add pastel napkins, and I stand by that, but I think the color pops even more when paired with an all-white set, and if you really want to go above and beyond, add a bouquet of white flowers!

Easter Baskets
So, maybe these are not exactly Easter decor items, but what is Easter without the Easter Baskets?! I love picking out a basket that can be used all year round and for multiple items! My favorites are our Hinza Totes! They come in a multitude of colors and two different sizes! They are made of 100% recycled materials and they are so durable you can even put them in your washing machine! My favorite part is all of the fun colors! I can get a different color for each family member, and we use them again and again! Keep an eye on our social media as I will be sharing a video of how I put together my Easter baskets using the Hinza Totes!

Now, I know that these are not too many changes, but when I tell you that these easy things make a world of difference I mean it! Overall, I hope that you all have a beautiful weekend enjoying the Holiday with your families and loved ones!
