Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Love is in the air all around Snohomish, and as a town, we can not wait for Valentine’s day! If you have never been here, we have heard it often referred to as a “Hallmark Town,” and we wear that badge proudly!

However, shopping for Valentine’s Day can still be hard even in a town that is all about the love of the season! I mean, you can always go with your typical flowers and a box of chocolate, but I always like to get something that is more sentimental and practical in our busy home.

Of course, it is the thought that counts, and I know I’ll love whatever Jacob and the boys get me, but here is a little bit of a hint-hint for Jake and the rest of you out there having trouble deciding what to get for the special someone in your life.

Lamb & Co Candles

Candles, candles, candles! Who doesn’t love a good-smelling candle?! These are the best smelling ones around! I love that they are made with 100% American grown soy wax and cotton wick, meaning that they burn cleaner longer than your typical paraffin candle!

Plus, they smell amazing! One of my favorite things is that we constantly get new scents, so there are new smells for every season. My current fav as we get closer to spring is Lavender and Lemon. It just makes my entire home smell so clean, fresh, and just the perfect amount of floral!

Did you know that memories are strongly connected to smells? When I burn a gifted candle, I love that the scent takes me back to special moments!

Photo Frames

I am such a sentimental person! One of my FAVORITE gifts to get is photos of my kids, husband, and dog, but I don’t love having to go out and find a frame for the pictures. With my busy schedule, the photos would often end up floating around for months until I remembered to pick one up! That’s why getting framed photos is so special to me. It takes away all of the work I would have had to do!

Plus, these gold frames are so cute and make the best addition to my mantle, nightstand, or floating shelves. All Jake and the boys have to do is buy the frame, print out my favorite picture, and I will be a happy Mama!

Metal Container

Is it just me, or can you never have enough little containers? I love having these little things around my house. I put them into my bathroom, on our entryway, even in the kitchen.

Words of affirmation are one of my love languages. I think it would be such a cute idea to give one of these canisters full of little love notes that could sit on my nightstand. A sentimental and thoughtful gift like this would totally fulfill my heart and be a continuous reminder.

And then, as a nice bonus, down the road, you could repurpose the canister and use it as a little ring and jewelry box later on! It’s definitely a win-win situation.

Hopefully, that helps you (and my husband!) with some simple, easy, and sentimental gifts you can give this Valentine’s Day!
